Travis Longman
(News). I was born in Moosomin Saskatchewan and lived there until I was 19 when I moved to Saskatoon to attend broadcasting school. After broadcasting school I moved to Lloydminster to work as a master control operator at CKSA TV (CBC Lloydminster). My first stint in Lloyd was for just under a year then I went to Dauphin to work as an on air personality at 730 CKDM. I worked in Dauphin for 3 months then moved back to the Lloydminster area for 2 years.
I mostly worked as a master control operator. However at CKSA Lloydminster I had the opportunity to work in multiple areas of broadcasting such as color commentary for the Lloydminster Bobcats of the AJHL and appearing in commercials etc. Towards the end of my tenure at CKSA I went back to College and took an Educational Assistant Course at Lakeland College in Vermillion. After my course I moved to Kamsack Saskatchewan and worked as an educational assistant there for a year. This past summer I was working at Wal Mart in Lloydminster anxiously awaiting a return to broadcasting. Just before the August long weekend I was hired as a radio news announcer and the rest is history.
In my free time I enjoy travelling, being around my friends, family and sports. Sports are an essential part of my life. I am a die hard Vancouver Canucks and Saskatchewan Roughriders fan. I have been all of my life.
