Steve Dooremalen

(Afternoon News-Big Six Hockey). Hi there! My name is Steve Dooremalen. I'm apart of the Sun 102.3fm and CJ 1280 newsroom. You'll hear me voice the afternoon news runs Monday through Friday and I will be the play by play announcer for our Big Six Hockey League Broadcasts.

I'm from Qu'Appelle SK originally and graduated from Indian Head High School. Amazing place! I entered the work force after high school for 3 years in Regina before enrolling at WABC to pursue my career in radio! I graduated from there in February of 2010 and immediately made my way to southeast Saskatchewan.

I love sports. Basketball would be my favourite.. big Raptors fan! I'm also a Riders, Maple Leafs, Blue Jays and Shaquille O'neal fan. I like to think I can play guitar. I sometimes tell people that. Keep listening to the radio!
